Target Minimum Donation
Aqueduct’s target minimum fund size is $250,000. This amount is due to Aqueduct’s focus on exceptional donations and the principle that donations to a donor advised fund should not displace ordinary donations to charities in the community.
Donor Advised Funds
A donor advised fund may start with a minimum initial donation of $100,000 and build to $250,000 over time. To build the Fund to the target minimum, the Donor will be asked to share their funding plan, which may include a combination of lifetime and estate gifts.
Legacy Funds
Legacy Funds may be established with no initial donation and no cost. The first donation is only expected to be received from the estate of the donor after their passing. If the final funding amount of a Legacy Fund is less than the $250,000 minimum, Aqueduct will make every effort to ensure Donor charitable wishes are respected, with an immediate payout to the recommended charities.

Yes. The minimum annual amount to be granted from each individual fund is 4% of the prior year-end balance. Individual grants must be a minimum of $1000 each. There is no maximum.
