Investment Management

Governance and oversight

Aqueduct employs several investment managers. Each manager adheres to an investment policy established by Aqueduct and monitored quarterly by the Investment Committee of the Board of Directors. These investment policies are available for review by Donors, Grant Advisors and prospective Donors. Aqueduct may amend the policy from time to time. Aqueduct has the sole discretion to hire and retain investment managers and may hire additional investment managers as a replacement for, or in addition to, its existing investment managers.

Frequently Asked Questions

Aqueduct offers three long-term investment portfolio options, as well as spend-down fund and short-term money market funds. These portfolios are monitored by Aqueduct’s investment committee, which is a Board sub-committee. Our foundation managers work with donors and their investment advisors to determine the best fit for each individual fund.
